Our work
We empower communities to improve livelihoods through reliable access to affordable distributed energy and work with companies and industry to decarbonise businesses, promote energy independence and reduce operating costs.
We advise on policy frameworks that ensure social and economic fairness in the energy transition. This includes advising governments on policies that integrate renewable energy sources while protecting vulnerable communities. We help create transition plans for regions or industries dependent on fossil fuels. For example, we develop strategies to retrain workers or diversify economies in coal-dependent areas.
We assess the social impacts of energy transition plans on different populations, particularly vulnerable or marginalised groups, such as low-income communities, Indigenous people, or workers in fossil fuel industries.
We facilitate dialogues between stakeholders, including energy companies, local communities, policymakers, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to ensure everyone’s voice is heard in the energy transition process. We ensure community buy-in and address concerns about job loss, economic instability and access to affordable energy.
