Climate Compatible Growth Scoping Study
The Centre for Global Equity (CGE) led a UK Government program to support Viet Nam in achieving its NDC commitments by leveraging expertise from UK universities to explore decarbonisation solutions, particularly in power and transport. As part of this effort, CGE engaged Alluvium (via AMPERES) to conduct a scoping study assessing Viet Nam's institutional and policy landscape, identifying opportunities and knowledge gaps in the energy and climate sector to inform capacity-building initiatives.

The Centre for Global Equity (CGE) oversaw a program of the UK Government to support Viet Nam meet its NDC commitments. This program mobilised the technical expertise of a range of UK universities to build evidence and analyse solutions for the decarbonisation of the Vietnamese economy with a specific focus on power and transport.
CGE commissioned Alluvium (through AMPERES) to undertake a scoping study to review the institutional and policy context of Viet Nam and highlight areas of opportunities and knowledge gaps in the energy and climate change sector in Viet Nam where capacity-building activities may enhance progress.
