AMPERES presents at 2nd Mekong-Australia policy dialogue on electricity transformation in ACMECS region

Together with the Thai Ministry of Energy, Australia was proud to co-host the 2nd Mekong Australia Policy Dialogue on Energy & Electricity Futures for Members of the Ayerwady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS).

The Policy Dialogue brought together participants from the Ministries of Energy in all Greater Mekong countries of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam together to discuss progress and opportunities for a sustainable electricity transistion in the Mekong countries.

Presentations were given by Australia’s Electricity Market Operator (AEMO), Energy Policy WA, Climate Change Department of Australia’s Dept. of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), SunCable and AMPERES.
