This 8 December, ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions and AMPERES will support Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership on a Side Event within COP28 UAE ๐ธ
๐ค Capacity-building and international partnership are two integral factors that permeate and solidify multiple aspects of the energy transition.
For Southeast Asia, urbanisation and rapid economic growth come with the increasing energy demand. To address these challenges and achieve the goals outlined in the Paris Agreement, the transition progress to clean and sustainable energy systems is crucial.
In this COP 28 side event, we will:
๐ catalyse action by explaining how capacity building and international partnership building on energy transition can be achieved successfully;
๐ showcase the approach and outcomes of the Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnershipโs Roundtable.
