SOBA is the most comprehensive integrated baseline assessment of the Ayeyarwady River Basin undertaken. It included inputs from more than 25 NGOs, universities, research centres and companies who collaborated to develop an evidence base of the processes, condition and trends in environmental, social and economic characterisitcs of the river basin as an input to the Ayeyarwady River Basin Master planning process.
